Welcome to our marathon sponsor page!
This March we, Noa, Ronia and Andrea, will be running as part of Team Shalva in the Jerusalem Marathon!
We will run in loving memory of Dan Wajdenbaum ז"ל, Noa’s brother, a beautiful soul who fell in combat in the central Gaza Strip on January 12.
Dan's passion for life, kindness, and unwavering spirit touched the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know him. He embodied resilience in the face of adversity and compassion for others. He knew how to listen to everyone and make them feel comfortable expressing what is in their heart.
Dan loved sports, became a personal trainer, and was supposed to start physical therapy studies this year, studies that he was so looking forward to and worked hard to be accepted into. Sport and compassion for others shaped his life. We honor his memory by embracing the joy he brought into our lives, remembering the laughter we shared, and carrying forward the positive impact he had on us all.
We will continue to spread his light, which will always remain with us. Let us embrace each step with determination, echoing his strength and perseverance. Though he may no longer be with us in person, his spirit remains eternally present in our hearts and will guide us.
Our participation and fundraising efforts for Shalva embody Dan’s light, uniting his passion for sport and his compassion for others.

center due to the holiday when the campus was completely destroyed. They are
also providing day care programing for evacuated children. Shalva's emergency
