This March I will be running as part of Team Shalva in the Jerusalem Marathon!

This marathon is known to be one of the hardest races, so why am I doing it?

The reason is Shalva.

Shalva is an organization that has been providing transformative care to people with disabilities and their family members in the warmest and most loving environment for over 30 years. From infancy through adulthood, this amazing organization provides leading-edge therapies, inclusive educational frameworks, social and recreational activities, employment training, independent living, respite programs regardless of religion, ethnic background or financial capability!
Simply put, Shalva is an incredible place and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The staff is so loving and kind and goes above and beyond to make the center a home away from home.

I am doing my part to support this amazing organization by running, and I need your help.
I am running in memory of my great grandparents- my Poppy, Harry Benjamin, my Nana, Ceil Benjamin, and my Bubbie Rita Yatchie, who I loved very much and miss everyday, and also my great grandfather Irving Yatchie, who I never got to meet. I was very privileged to have known three of my great grandparents, and I know they would be so proud of me for taking on this challenge.
I plan to raise US $3,400.00 and I hope you will help me reach this goal by making a donation. Any amount helps! Your donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
