Welcome to my marathon sponsor page!

After a series of incredibly difficult weeks in Israel, I am so proud to be on team Shalva. This March, BeEzrat Hashem, I will be running the 10k in Jerusalem. If this is your first time hearing about Shalva, let me tell you a little bit about this incredible organization. Shalva, the Israel Association for the Care and Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities is dedicated to providing transformative care for individuals with disabilities, empowering their families and promoting social inclusion. Shalva stands on one central pillar--no one should be left alone. By creating a friendly and safe environment for children with disabilities, Shalva helps designate a place and a home for everyone.

On March 8th, 2024/5783, I will be running a 10k after raising $2,500 for Shalva. This money will go directly to the Shalva organization. Team Shalva is the largest charity team in the Jerusalem Marathon. This year, a Berman team of more than 10 runners will be traveling to Israel to participate in this incredible opportunity. Over the next few months I will be training to prepare, and throughout that time, Shalva will continuously be stepping up for anyone and everyone who needs support during this war in Israel.

Simply put, Shalva is an incredible place and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The staff is so loving and kind and goes above and beyond to make the center a home away from home.

For the next few weeks and months, our support is crucial for the Shalva organization, and for the state of Israel, our beloved, holy land. I stand strong with my support and love for this amazing organization, and I need your help, too.

Please join me in this incredible journey for me, my Berman team, and every member of Shalva. Thousands of people need our help. When I come to visit the Shalva organization in March, I will bring my love of Israel (and my love of running!!) with me.

Help me reach that finish line at the end of the race. And remember, this journey isn't over. It has just begun. I'll see you in Israel!!
