Welcome to my marathon sponsor page!

This February I will be running as part of Team Shalva in the Tel Aviv Half Marathon!

Last year I ran the Jerusalem Half Marathon, and it was my first time working with Shalva. It was an incredible experience and showed me how special this organization really is. That’s why I’m coming back this year and pushing myself again — this time with a goal of raising $4,000.

Why am I doing it?

The reason is Shalva.

Shalva has been providing transformative care to individuals with disabilities and their family members in the warmest and most loving environment for over 35 years. From infancy through adulthood, this amazing organization provides leading-edge therapies, inclusive educational frameworks, social and recreational activities, employment training, independent living, and respite programs — all regardless of religion, ethnic background, or financial ability.

At the sudden onset of the war in Israel, Shalva stepped up and supported as many people as they could, as fast as they could. They opened their doors as a National Crisis Response Center, welcoming over 200 families from the South and providing the physical safety and emotional support they desperately needed. Along with that, they continue caring for 2,000 individuals with disabilities.

Simply put: Shalva is an incredible place, open 24/7, filled with staff who go above and beyond to make the center feel like a true home away from home.

I’m doing my part to support this amazing organization by running — and I need your help to reach my goal.

I’ll take care of the training, the achy feet, and crossing the finish line if you can help me by donating to this worthy cause. All contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law, and anything you can give will help me get closer to $4,000. Together, we’ll be supporting this truly special place.

Thank you so much for your help and generosity!
