Hi, I hope you are having a great day! My name is Isabella Myers, I go to school at Immanuel College and have been offered an incredible opportunity to run a 10k in Israel to raise money for Shalva. What is shalva? Well, Shalva has been providing transformative care to individuals with mental and physical disabilities and their family members in the warmest and most loving environment for over 35 years. This amazing organization provides therapies, educational lessons, social activities, employment training and independent living. I am doing my part to support this amazing organization by running the 10k and I need your help! This opportunity is something I would love to take part in, it would help me personally in many different ways. One of them being upping my fitness for my PE GCSE and having better fitness will help with my netball. I have always had a passion for sport and doing exercise, I am now captain of my school netball A team and doing sport is something I very much enjoy. With just 3 months to go the excitement builds up and I can not wait. However, that is soon, so I am asking for your help. In order to take part in this event, Shelva asked the athletes to raise £1950 and then they will fly you out to Israel for a 10KM with an unbeatable atmosphere and then a wonderful shabbat weekend.
