This February I will be running as part of Team Shalva in the Tel Aviv Marathon! I am running for something far bigger than a finish line

Shalva has been providing transformative care to individuals with disabilities and their family members in the warmest and most loving environment for over 35 years. From infancy through adulthood, this amazing organization provides leading-edge therapies, inclusive educational frameworks, social and recreational activities, employment training, independent living, and respite programs regardless of religion, ethnic background or financial capability!

When the war in Israel began, Shalva immediately stepped up. They opened their doors as a National Crisis Response Center welcoming over 200 families from the South providing both the physical safety and emotional support the individuals so desperately need. Shalva's emergency campaign along with their consistent care of 2000 individuals with disabilities is inspiring. 

Shalva operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and the dedication of their staff ;their compassion, kindness, and unwavering commitment is truly inspiring. It is genuinely a home away from home for so many families.

This cause is close to my heart, and supporting Shalva means supporting dignity, stability, and love for people who need it most.

With the marathon taking place in February and the continued need for crisis support in Israel, every donation made between now and race day has a real and immediate impact.
