Welcome To Team Evan Erlick!

Goal: 6900

Welcome to Nikki and Cody's marathon sponsor page!

This year, we will be running in the memory of Cody's brother, Evan Erlick. Evan was passionate about his family, and Israel. Evan had a dream that all kids with illnesses and disabilities could have a place where they would be able to play games, relax and, for a little while, just be kids. This year we will be running the Jerusalem Marathon to raise money for the very things Evan loved as part of Team Shalva.

On December 5, 2006 - a few months after celebrating his Bar Mitzvah in Israel, Evan Erlick y”h lost his courageous battle with a brain tumour. He was only 13 years old.

Shalva is one of Israel’s premier institutions that cares for, and supports children with special needs and their families. They take in the entire range of needs – from physical to cognitive disabilities. It is true you can judge every society by how they care for their disadvantaged and it could not be truer for the State of Israel. In Shalva we witness the noble, loving and caring Israel that fills our hearts with pride.

This March our hearts will be holding Evan’s spirit knowing we carry his fight to where it belongs.

Thank you in advance for your help and generosity.
